I answered your post on my blog over there, but just wanted to say that I also write about loved ones who have departed and I also find it very therapeutic.

Thank you for your encouraging words. Actually, One Last Good-bye took place in June of 2000, so it’s a little easier to talk/write about thus the reason I was able to put it into words. Writing and remembering a lost loved one is comforting/therapeutic I believe ;0)

If you’re going to submit to MedHunters, go ahead and submit your essay instead of just a query. Also, give it time. You may not hear from them for months. It takes a long time for these things (editors have a LOT of submissions, phone calls, emails, etc., to wade through). Don’t think they’re ignoring you, they’re just really busy people…
