Michele’s Manic Monday
Written by Michele T on February 18, 2008 – 8:20 pm -Wow, I spent more time away from my desk than I’d planned! I think I enjoyed it a little too much! Of course, I’ve been online a few times I just haven’t published a new post until now. Perhaps I should do a better job of following my own writing advice, eh? 
Today has been a wee bit busy (but in a good way!) so I’m just now finding time to deliver today’s post to you. Great news, though: I won the contest! That means I received a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate and have lots of shopping to do for those books I’ve been fantasizing about. How exciting is that? Very! It feels like Christmas already!

As soon as I narrow down my list to fit within budget and make my order, I’ll share with you which books I’ve ordered and why. I’ve had the most of these on my wish list for a while now so there’ll be no hasty choices here! You’ll be able to watch my writing improve and flourish with the wisdom I gain from my new reference books and you’ll see this blog grow, change, and move to WordPress (guess what one of the books is about?!) over the next few months.
I look forward to more sales, more clients, and higher numbers of subscribers and readers to this blog. How about you?

My Monday was fun and busy. So was Tuesday for that matter since that is over as of 8 minutes ago.
Packing boxes, moving boxes, unpacking boxes, moving empty boxes, driving, kids to school, kid home from school, kid home from school (kindy finishes earlier). I’ve started wondering if we are remembering to eat regularly amongst all the chaos.
There were 8 books ordered from my links very recently. I don’t know if they’re all yours but if they are then I KNOW WHAT YOU ORDERED.
Great choices too!
I might just have to treat myself to one of these Amazon splurges soon. Perhaps once the sale of my house is final.

Thanks for sharing how your Monday went! And… your Tuesday! I often forget those of you in Australia are way ahead of us over here. India is quite different, too. It’s amazing that some of us can be ending a day when others are just beginning it!
Yes, moving is quite a chore, isn’t it? I do hope you get to slow down soon and get to keep eating a healthy diet.
Actually, I DID order those 8 books! So, you already know what I chose. I’m going to try to post about my order today, sharing what I ordered and why those were my choices. Hopefully I’ll get it accomplished. There’s lots on my to-do list though!
You definitely deserve one of these Amazon splurges, Rebecca! I hope your house sells soon so you can have your dream shopping spree!
