Pretty photo, isn’t it? I’m far from a professional photographer. Half of the photos I snap are out of focus and not so great, so when I get one that actually makes me happy and proud to be the one who captured it (like the one above), I’m elated.

I have to be honest. I’ve gone back and forth between two other blog posts today. Both are great ideas and they’re going to be pretty good posts, but I’m just not feeling either of them today. I know you’ll thank me (once you read them) for saving them until inspiration takes me over.

Since this is the weekend, I’ve decided on a fun blog post. I recently came across the most hilarious thing I think I’ve seen in a while. I guess it doesn’t take much to occupy me. I’m not going to spoil the surprise, though. I want you to see it for yourself. Anxious to find out? I know you’re dying to know! Ok, I’ll share with you… But be warned, you’re going to flip out!

What? Thought I forgot to tell you? If you’re still reading, you missed it already. Go back and click on the words “flip out.” See ‘em right up there? Yeah, those words. Go click ‘em. You’re gonna love it! And don’t forget to come back here and share your reaction in the comments. I can’t wait to hear (ahem… read) what you have to say about it. :-)

Ah, the meme…. I didn’t forget, Janna! Janna, over at Something She Wrote, paid me back. I recently tagged her for the Writing from Home meme, so she tagged me for the A to Z meme. I thought it sounded familiar when I read hers. Now I know why. I went through my archives and I’ve already done that one! Sorry for the wait, Janna. And… drum roll, please… Weekend Fun with the Alphabet.

So, how’s your weekend been? Have you been reading or writing? Are you near the water? Enjoying the sandy beaches? Did you go shopping? Let us know… leave a comment now! We’re waiting…. And, by all means, did you “flip out?”

Hope you’ve been having lots of success writing the cyber highway–and fun, too!

That’s a nice photo. Clouds never cease to amaze me.

I’ve been writing a lot, as usual, keeping my blog up to date.

hehehe The upside down words don’t show up right in the comments. I tried to play this prank on a friend’s blog and she thought I had a virus! hehehe In the e-mails I’ve sent so far, the folks thought one of us had a virus too. This topsy-turvy writing is just TOO FUN! ;-)

Thanks. I’m glad you liked my photo. I’m proud of myself for taking it. :-) Clouds are amazing, aren’t they? They look like fluffy marshmallows! Of course, you know I’d have to see something I could eat. :-)

Loved the cloud photo! Photography is not my strong suit, so I’m always excited if my pictures are sort of in focus :)

It was a quiet weekend at my house – nobody flipped out ;)

      Hi Michele,

      Yep, I flipped out! LOL.

I had a great weekend! Water, boating, eating, church, and a purple house all helped to make it fun. I did do some writing! Surpsied? Me, too! Hehe. And I got 2 permission slips for 2 reprints. Yay! Okay, I got to stop bragging. Are you having a 4th celebration with singing? If you are, invite me, will ya? Hehe. Have a great 4th of July weekend.

      Love and Hugs,

      Renie

      PS. Great photo!

      Hi Renie,

I love the flip site. It’s soooooooooooo much fun! :-) Guess you know why you got that e-mail now. hehehee Sneaky, I am! Sorry, sometimes the meanness just comes out. I can’t stifle it 100% of the time, ya know!

So glad you had a great weekend! Wow… boating? You daring lady, you! Yay for the permission slips on the reprints! WOO HOO for you! ;-) Keep bragging, I love it! It inspires me!

Hey, we’re gonna watch fireworks out in front of the house. Bring a chair and join us. Eileen too–we’d love that! ;-) We can sing too if ya want us to. :-)

      Hi Michele,

Not having out-of-focus photos is not what makes a professional photographer. At least half of ours are out-of-focus too, maybe more; the difference is that we’re experimenting and pushing the envelope, plus we take 6 or 8 or 10 shots of one thing and delete 7 or 8 or maybe all 10. And then we do it all over again.

    10. Michele T Says:

      Hi there, Deb!

That is so true. I do delete a lot of them. hehehe ;-) I’m getting better each time, though! Gotta pat myself on the back for persistence. :-)

      Thanks for stopping by!

The photo is beautiful – the mixture of clouds, tree, sky and sunlight is absolutely gorgeous.

Thank so much! I’m glad you like my photos. I don’t always get very good ones so I’m honored that you like them. :-)

      Hope you’ve been doing well!

    13. Tina Says:

      Michele,

That is hilarious! It was also a blast from the past for me. Long ago, way long ago, when I was in high school, we had study hall in the cafeteria. My friends used to write and pass notes. Invariably, a teacher would come by and scoop up the note. Then it occurred to me to write a note that could be read from across the table without having to turn the page. I discovered that I could write backwards and upside down. I never got caught passing notes. LOL

This is a lot of fun. Thank you! I hope you are having a great holiday celebration. :-)

So glad you enjoyed flipping out. ;-) It is great fun! And thanks so much for sharing your high school story of passing notes upside down and backwards and not getting caught. What great fun, eh?

Yes, I had a wonderful holiday–safe and happy and blessed! Hope you did as well!

Beautiful Photograph, Michele! I love taking sky pictures too.

Personally I’m glad that flip text didn’t flood out the comments. *chuckles* It’s just too much of a brain fry for me. :-p

I’m looking forward to more of your blog entries so I hope you’re writing!

You know, I thought the flip text would flood the comments but I guess the readers just didn’t want to do that. Beats me!
