Hi, there! Thanks for taking the time to peruse the Cyber Highway. Let me introduce myself. I’m Michele L. Tune,  freelance writer and blogger. I enjoy writing the cyber highway. I created this site as a source of inspiration and encouragement to writers of all genres, or even the occasional passerby. From the beginning, I desired this stretch of Cyber Highway to be a warm, friendly community - a refuge from the turbulent freelance storm(s). It excites me to no end to have the opportunity to feel and see this very thing happening each and every day! As this site grows, so does the number of readers. They are writers of various ages, ethnic backgrounds, religions, from different walks of life. Some are just starting their own paths to follow their writing dreams. Others are seasoned, published all over, and willingly share their experiences and support in the comments. My (original and continuing) goal for Writing the Cyber Highway is to provide useful resources and a breath of fresh air to fellow writers, new or seasoned. I’d love for you to join me us!

A few topics you may find here are:

  • markets to submit your work to
  • reviews of books I recommend to enhance your writing
  • inspiration and encouragement
  • a peek into my writing struggles, failures, and accomplishments
  • tips for getting published
  • tips for developing relationships with editors
  • how to organize your manuscripts and contracts
  • how to keep track of your submissions and queries

What editors are saying:

My wife, Kerrie and I, enjoyed working with Michele immensely. She provided us with everything we asked of her, and then some. Michele is genuine and has endless passion. It’s these qualities that make her writing shine. She’s not only a professional writer, but a friendly one who’ll go the extra mile. Working with her was a delightful experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. I definitely recommend her; I’m a big fan of her writing. — Tom & Kerrie Everitt, Editors, True Real Estate Stories (Vancouver, B.C.)

To date, Michele Tune has had three articles published on our site, MedHunters.com, which is an ezine and job board for healthcare professionals. Her writing is heartwarming, genuine, and honest. She has always been responsive to edits, questions, and follow-ups, and in general is a pleasure to work with.–Cynthia Piccolo, Editor, MedHunters magazine

“Michele Tune has been a joy to work with as we put together Penned from the Heart Vol. XIV. Her writing encourages those who have carried heavy burdens and gives them hope through the Gospel. God’s grace has granted her overcoming victories through much courage and faith in His Word. As she has stated, ‘God’s done a great many things for me, and I want to share, encourage and inspire through my writing.’ She has succeeded! — Fran Pratt, Editor, Penned from the Heart
