Subscribe With My New Custom Feed Dolly!

Ain’t she cute? This feed dolly is a gift from one of my longtime, loyal readers. You see, Grandy, over at Functional Shmunctional, won a free custom feed dolly by participating in a comment war at MyMariuca.com. (This is a blog Grandy happened to find through Entrecard.) She didn’t realize the top 3 winners would receive a feed dolly. She already had a feed dolly (check it out on her blog, Functional Shmunctional), so when she found out that’s what she had won, she decided she wanted to offer this one as a gift to me. I’m really excited to receive my very own custom feed dolly! Notice her blouse matches Writing the Cyber Highway colors. Her hair is up like mine is in my photo (on the About page). I also love the road sign (it is like the one in the header!). And… how cute is it that I’m holding the feed button?!
So, who’s the creative mind behind this awesome feed dolly? Emila, from Emila’s Illustrated Blog is! I checked out Emila’s blog for myself and was astounded by all the talent she has. I “window shopped” on her Book Cover Designs page. I’d love to have her design the cover(s) of my upcoming book(s)! Everything she creates is really… well, CREATIVE! And beautiful, very beautiful. If you’ve never heard of Emila’s Illustrated Blog, you definitely have to check it out. You’ll be in awe by all the pretty stuff she designs, too!
And, Grandy, thank you so much for thinking of me! I really appreciate both you and Emila working together to capture the true spirit of this blog in the feed dolly design. You’re the best blogging buddy! I know your blog is going to continue to grow and grow and only get more fantabulous with time. You are so creative, so fun, and such a talented gal! Keep blogging – you’re doing a great job! And, phooey on that hate mail; your blog posts rock!!
So, how’s your week been? Any new clips? Break into a new market? Did you push away from the keyboard, get out of the house, and have a fun adventure in the real world? Tell us all about it in the comments! Oh, and what do you think about my new feed dolly? Will you get one of your own? Don’t forget to subscribe so you won’t miss exciting updates!

The New View
Written by Michele T on March 16, 2008 – 8:49 pm -New Design, by Goofy Girl Designs
I can’t believe how much positive feedback I’ve received (both in the comments and via e-mail) about the new header and design. I’m thrilled so many of my readers are enjoying it. I know I absolutely love it and couldn’t be more pleased with Heather, at Goofy Girl Designs, and how she pulled the ideas from my brain and incorporated them into what you now see online. Isn’t she amazing? I have to tell you, she’s a gem! She’s so talented, fun to work with, and really professional at the same time.
Go ahead, check out her services!

Advertise Your Site for $1
I also decided to allow readers to advertise their sites by adding My Top Spots.
The way it works is you just click on the buy one link at the bottom and it will direct you to a page where you can purchase your ad by paying $1 via PayPal. Each time a new advertiser buys a spot, your ad will be bumped down. I can also make it show space for 10 advertisers though.
Entrecard, I’m loving it
Entrecard has brought me a lot of new readers. Overall, I’m pleased with the results. I have new subscribers and I’ve noticed new comments from some of them. It’s fun (when you have the extra time) to surf the various categories for blogs you can advertise on. You’ll also find blogs you’ve never heard of before that you don’t know how you’ve lived without. While you’re visiting these blogs, you’ll notice you can drop your card by clicking on their Entrecard widget. (Goofy Girl Designs created mine!).
Getting more organized
I created links in the Pages category in the top, right corner to clean up the place a bit. You’ll find About, Contact, my website, my portfolio, Writing Blogs, and Writing Resources.
Shop the Cyber Highway!
If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to visit Writing the Cyber Highway’s Store. You’ll find an abundance of books, magazines, fun writing items, and more!
Looking for writing jobs?
You can also search for jobs from this very stretch of the cyber highway. How cool is that?
I do hope everyone has adjusted easily to the changes. (Keep in mind I’m viewing this blog with Mozilla Firefox). I’m honored to have each of you consider my humble thoughts interesting enough to stick around.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!
