    Blogger Silence, In Memory…

I’ve decided to join blogger friend, Deborah Wilson, in a day of “Blogger silence” – effective Tuesday, September 11 – to honor fallen Americans and those who loved them. I will not be posting on 9/11. This blog will remain silent until 9/12 to show my respect.

    In silence, in memory…..

    God bless the USA!

With the anniversary of September 11th just around the corner, there will be articles all about it. If you haven’t done so already (you don’t have time to get anything published for this years’ anniversary–it’s already the 5th!), you could begin working on a poem or story idea about this tragic event for next year. Edit and polish it and keep your eyes open for a market for it. Query a magazine you think would be interested, or approach your local newspaper about publishing it.

    Tip:
If you come upon a holiday or event that isn’t time-sensitive, you could always keep it in mind for the upcoming year. You’ll have plenty of time to prepare!

Good luck writing (ahead of time) the cyber highway!
